Availability¶
AlexPearce3D Studio is currently presented as a development preview. This documentation describes implemented workflows in the active product codebase, including features that may depend on optional components.
Platform¶
Current development builds target Apple silicon Macs. The exact minimum macOS version and supported hardware matrix must be published with the selected beta package.
Feature boundaries¶
| Area | Current documentation status |
|---|---|
| Core graph, compositing, color, and delivery | Documented as development features |
| OpenEXR playback and export | Available choices vary by codec and output path |
| Camera RAW | Requires the matching vendor SDK/runtime package |
| FastDVDnet temporal denoise | Requires its qualified runtime and supported source route |
| FrameFix | Requires a trusted FrameFix-enabled application build; bundled files alone do not establish availability |
| MASV and Vimeo delivery | Depends on the selected build and configured external service |
| Stage and AJA output | Experimental; requires compatible hardware and an explicitly qualified setup |
What a status does not promise¶
A feature shown in the node browser or described here is not a promise that its dependency ships in every build. Before a beta release, the application package must be checked after final packaging and signing, and its release notes must identify included runtimes and qualified workflows.
The website does not yet provide downloads, accounts, purchases, licenses, or beta acceptance. A beta request records interest only.
