On-stage checklist

Use this as a recording sheet for the physical checks still pending. A fixture test or numerical pass does not replace any item below.

Before recording

  • [ ] Record SX40 IP, firmware, project and locally confirmed identity; note 3.4.9's unavailable serial/project API identity.
  • [ ] Record camera model, output curve/gamut/range/matrix, WB/tint scale, exposure, shutter, lens and position.
  • [ ] Record DeckLink/KONA model and driver, signal resolution and exact cadence.
  • [ ] Verify GPU output routing, SDR/PQ encoding, reference white and wall signal.
  • [ ] Inspect input HDR/color, global controls, LUT/curves/14-way state, blackout/freeze/test pattern, genlock and ShutterSync findings.
  • [ ] Save the session/run and preserve all referenced files.

Quick Balance

  • [ ] Show actual gray, expose and white-balance the camera, then lock settings.
  • [ ] Match/save gray and verify Input Color and clipping findings.
  • [ ] Verify a small processor temperature change's direction and readback.
  • [ ] Capture fresh gray after each change and verify restoration.

Full correction and remeasurement

  • [ ] Record/capture the complete sequence with consistent settings.
  • [ ] Review quality findings and both numerical approximation reports.
  • [ ] Verify the encoded LUT insertion behavior with the actual SDR/PQ path.
  • [ ] Save the recoverable baseline, deliberately Apply and inspect readback.
  • [ ] Use the linked post-Apply run; capture fresh material with camera settings locked.
  • [ ] Inspect the measured comparison and document camera continuity.
  • [ ] Exercise Bypass/Restore and confirm the original processor state.

Package and Operator

  • [ ] Open the extracted portable package on the intended stage PC.
  • [ ] Test real capture, import, UI scaling, keyboard operation and offline help.
  • [ ] Verify live Studio sign-in/hosted assistance if needed.

Record failures and missing evidence explicitly. Release qualification and full Stage integration are separate from this development QA exercise.
